World Championship: Greco-Roman wrestlers return to Armenia

On September 18 Greco-Roman wrestlers returned to Armenia from Kazakhstan late at night. At the airport they were received by Armen Grigoryan, Adviser to the National Olympic Committee President Gagik Tsarukyan, Gagik Bolshikyan, Head of the ANOC Sports Department, and others.


Let us recall Greco-Roman wrestlers Norayr Hakhoyan (55 kg), Slavik Galstyan (63 kg), Malkhas Amoyan (72 kg) and Maksim Manukyan (82 kg) had come back to Armenia earlier.


The Armenia team has returned to homeland with 2 medals. Slavik Galstyan has won a world bronze medal and Artur Aleksanyan (97 kg) - a silver one. Aleksanyan missed the final match because of a rib fracture.
