The freestyle and the Greco-Roman international wrestling championships were held at the same time in Sofia, Bulgaria. Among the freestyle wrestlers Hajimurad Muhamedov/ 96kg/ succeed, he won the 1^st prize. Gexam Babaxanyan was the 2^nd among the wrestlers of 55kg, Mihran Zaburyan was the 3^rd. Among the Super Heavy Weight class Ruslan Basiev was also the 3^rd.

In the Greco-Roman wrestling, among the 66 kg weight class Aram Julfalakyan won the final game beating Hovhannes Varderesyan. Aram Julfalakyan is the olympic champion Levon Julfalakyan’s younger son.

Artur Mkrtchjan / 60kg / and Hrachya Hovhannisyan/ 84kg/ were the 3^rd.

The championship was an important one before the European Championship starting on March 4 in Belgium. By the way the Olympic tickets will not be raffled in Serbian championship. In stead of it the rating tournaments will successively be held In Bulgaria, China and Finland. They will start on April 10 with the schedule of once in 8 days.

Both in the freestyle and the Greco-Roman wrestling the athletes from Armenia have one ticket for each.
