Cadet wrestlers conquer one more gold and two silver medals at European Championship

The Cadet European Championship is underway at the Swedish captal city of Stockholm.

On the second competition day freestyle wrestlers of 46kg, 54kg, 63kg, 76kg and 100kg competed on the mat.

Arman Andreasyan at 63kg became a European champion. The Armenian wrestler gained advantage over an Azerbaijani rival in the finals (4:3).

Razmik Papikyan at 46kg conceded 0:6 to Russia's Alik Khadarcev and grabbed a silver medal.

2015 European champion Arsen Harutyunyan (he had become a champion in the 46kg weight class) who this year was representing the 54kg weight class, lost to a Greek opponent 3:4 in the finals and became a silver medalist.

Arman Avagyan (76kg) and Ashot Rushanyan (100kg) were also close to the bronze medals but lost in the fight for the third position.

The Armenian cadet freestyle wrestling team conquered one gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the 2016 Cadet European Championship.
