CISM Military World Games. Wrestler Gor Grigoryan lost the fight for the bronze medal

The 6th Military World Games are being held in Myungyeong, Korea. Today has competed freestyle wrestlers Gor Grigoryan(57kg) and Hakob Avetisyan(65kg). Gor Grogoryan has started the fight  from 1/8 finals and won against the Lebanese Sid El Chami. In 1/4  finlas the Armenian wrestler lost to the Korean Kim Jin Cherli. As he reached the finals, Grigoryan got opportunity to fight fot the bronze medal. The wrestler won against the Palestinian Adzhar Hussein but in the fight for the bronze medal was defeated 2: 5 by the Iranian Reza Atranagharchi and took the 5th place. 

Hakob Avetisyan started the fight from 1/8 finals beating Mohamed Ibrahim from Egypt, but in1/4 finals leave the competition losing to Azamat Shagapuli from Kazakhstan.

Military World Games are being held for the 6th time. This year 8700 athletes from 110 countries take part in the Games. Armenia takes part in the games for the first time. Our delegation has left for Korea with 15 athletes who will compete in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, judo, taekwondo and cycling.
