CISM Military World Games. Armenian freestyle wrestlers stayed without medals

The 6th Military World Games are being held in Myungyeong, Korea. Freestle wrestlers have competed today Gor Torosyan (61kg) and Aren Alekyan (70kg).

Armenian wrestlers lost from the first fight. Torosyan began from 1/16 finals and was defeated 1:2 by the Korean Yu Ji Hun. Aren Alekyan (70kg) lost to Kumar Dinesh (India) 3:5 in 1/8 finals.

So the Armenian freestyle wrestlers stayed without medals.

Greco-Roman wrestlers will come out on October 9.

Military World Games are being held for the 6th time. This year 8700 athletes from 110 countries take part in the Games. Armenia takes part in the games for the first time. Our delegation has left for Korea with 15 athletes who will compete in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, judo, taekwondo and cycling.
