The Armenian weightlifters at the World Championship

The World Championship kicked off on November 20 in Houston, USA, goes on. The first from Armenia’s team came out Anna Govelyan (53kg) fighting in Group B. In the double-event of 170kg (76+94) Govelyan placed 28th. Among women in 53kg weight class the World Champion became Su Ching Hsu 221 kg (96+125).

On November 23-24, at 1: 00 am Izabella Yaylyan (58kg) and at 3:30 am Vanik Avetisyan (69kg) will come out.
