At the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championship in Russian Ulan-Ude Armenia’s representative Anahit Aroyan (54 kg) entered the struggle from the 1/16 finals where lost 0:5 to German Ursula Gottlob.

Another Armenian representative Ani Hovsepyan (69 kg) will start performing on October 4.
On October 3 European U22 current champion Anush Grigoryan (51 kg) had started the World Championship with a victory reaching the 1/8 finals.
