In the semifinals of the AOB European Olympic qualifier being held in Turkey Armenia’s representative in 64kg weight class Hovhannes Bachkov lost to London Olympics bronze medalist Evaldas Petraukas in the semifinals.

Aram Avagyan (56kg) conceded to Azerbaijani Zavid Chalabiev.

Bachkov and Avagyan will continue fighting for prize places and qualifications.

Let us recall that only finalists and bronze medalists will gain Olympic qualifications.
