Levon Aronyan came in second at the Stavanger tournament

Armenian chess team’s front runner Levon Aronyan came in second at the Stavanger tournament.
In the last round of the Norwegian international tournament Aronyan was playing with Pentala Harikrishna. On the 39th move of the game the grand masters decided to share the point.
Carlsen vs Eljanov game which was being played simultaneously became decisive. Prior to it both Aronyan and Carlsen had had 5 points each. Carsen won the game and leading the standings with 6 points became the winner of the Stavanger tournament.
Levon Aronyan took the second position with 5, 5 points.
