European Championships: Gymnast Artur Avetisyan qualifies for finals at still rings

The European Artistic Gymnastics Championships has kicked off in Bern, Switzerland where juniors started the first day of the competition.

Among juniors Armenia was represented by Artur Avetisyan who competed in the all-around competition and placed 28th scoring 77, 765 points. Avetisyan missed the chance to participate in the all-around competition finals.
In the still rings event Avetisyan placed 4th scoring 14, 166 points and got the right to compete in the finals.
At the European Championships Armenia is represented by Harutyun Merdinyan, Artur Davtyan, Artur Tovmasyan, Vahagn Davtyan and Armen Petrosyan. In the juniors competition Armenia’s only representative is Artur Avetisyan.
