World Individual Deaf Chess Championship comes to an end in Yerevan

The 16th ICCD World Individual Deaf Chess Championship came to an end at the Chess House after Tigran Petrosian.

In Armenia such an international tournament was held for the first time. Armenia’s Saro Melkonyan conquered silver with 4 points and veteran Hakob Hakobyan became a bronze medalist with 4, 5 points.
120 deaf chess players from 24 countries of the world attended the championship and competed in 3 age groups.
