Armenian women’s chess team member Lilit Mkrtchyan came 4th at the European Individual Women’s Chess Championship.
In the last round Mkrtchyan was competing against the front-runner, Anna Ushenina. The game ended in a tie. Mkrtchyan scoring 8 points placed 4th. Ukraine’s Ushenina became the winner of the championship.
Maria Kursova placed 32nd, Lilit Galoyan – 70th and Maria Gevorgyan – 93rd.
