Armenian wrestlers conquer three more medals at Stepan Sargsyan tournament

The 21st tournament after Seoul Olympic silver medalist, freestyle wrestler Stepan Sargsyan took place in Vanadzor.

On the second day of the tournament wrestlers of 61kg, 70kg, 84kg and 125kg competed.

Akhmed Chakayev (61kg, Russia), Magobedkhabib Kadimagomedov (70kg, Russia), Alireza Karimi (86kg, Iran) and Pavriz Masmanj (125kg, Iran) conquered gold medals.

Armenia’s Grigor Grigoryan (70kg) and Shamir Atyan (86kg) lost in the finals and became silver medalists. Levan Berianidze at 125kg who had qualified for the Rio Olympics became a bronze medalist.

At the 21st tournament after Stepan Sargsyan the Armenian wrestlers won two gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
