The Armenian weightlifting men’s and women’s teams have left for Houston

After closing of training camp in Kazan the Armenian weightlifting men’s and women’s teams have left for the USA where the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships of this year is to be held.

Armenia will be represented there by the following women athletes: Anna Govelyan (53kg), Izabella Yaylyan (58kg), Nazik Avdalyan (69kg), Sona Poghosyan (75kg) and Hripsime Khurshudyan (75+kg).

Among men will compete Vanik Avetisyan (69kg), Tigran Martirosyan, Andranik Karapetyan (77kg), Simon Martirosyan (105kg), Ruben Aleksanyan and Gor Minasyan (+105kg).

The 2015 World Weightlifting Championships kick off on November 20 and will end on November 28.
