Iran’s capital, Tehran will host the Greco-Roman World Wrestling Clubs Cup where Armenia will be represented by Dinamo club.
Armenian Greco-Roman wrestlers will leave to Tehran with the following line-up: Narek Khachatryan (59kg), Hovhannes Varderesyan (66kg), Armen Hakobyan (71kg), Ruben Gharibyan (75kg), Gegham Torgomyan (80kg), Argisht Abgaryan (85kg), Vahe Simonyan (98kg) and Vachik Yeghiazaryan (130kg). Already in Iran, 80kg and 130kg weight classes athletes will join Armenia’s team.
The team headed by coaches Arsen Makvetyan and Hmayak Babayan will leave for the competition place on December 14.
The prize fund of the Greco-Roman World Wrestling Clubs Cup is 100.000$. The winner will get 50.000$, the second and the third places will earn 30.000$ and 20.000$, respectively.
