The Armenia men’s boxing team will have 8 representatives at the World Championship being held in Yekaterinburg, Russia from September 6 to 22.
Artur Hovhannisyan (52 kg), Erik Petrosyan (57 kg), Hovhannes Bachkov (63 kg), Koryun Astoyan (69 kg), Arman Darchinyan (75 kg), Artush Hovhannisyan (81 kg), Henrikh Sargsyan (91 kg) and super heavyweight Gurgen Hovhannisyan led by coaches Vahan Adilkhanyan and Karen Ghazaryan, will set off for the competition place on September 5
For the first time the World Boxing Championship will be held with new weight classes.
