Shooter Hrachik Babayan failed to overcome the qualification round at the 30th Summer Universiade underway in Italian Naples.
Hrachik Babayan scored 619,7 points at 10m air rifle and placed 23rd among 53 participants dropping out of the competition.
On July 7 Armenia will be also represented by shooter Elmira Karapetyan (10 m air pistol), diver Vladimir Harutyunyan (10 m springboard) and artistic gymnast Artur Avetisyan who will participate in the rings final.
The championships had brought together women’s 11 and men’s 10 pairs.
The Armenia team has a new European champion after a 6-year break.
Aronyan competed with 22 pupils with disabilities from inclusive educational schools.
