Armenia figure skating team member Anastasia Galustyan scored 100.19 points and placed 6th in the Denis Ten Memorial Challenge being held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
It was the 20-year-old figure skater’s debut in the new season. After the free skating program Galustyan was 5th.
Let us recall Sochi 2014 Olympic bronze medalist Denis Ten had died at the age of 25 in July 2018. Criminals had tried to steal the Kazakh figure skater’s car in Almaty and had stabbed him. Denis Ten had been taken to hospital where doctors had been unable to save his life.
