The 76th Armenian Chess Championship among men came to an end at the Chess House after Tigran Petrosyan.
After 11 rounds collecting 8 points from 11 possible, Zaven Andriasyan became Armenia’s chess champion. In the last round he played draw with Norayr Torosyan. Robert Hovhannisyan came second with 7, 5 points and Arman Pashikyan came third with 6 points.
Maria Gevorgyan became the champion among women getting 8, 5 points from 9 possible.
