At the European Boxing Championships underway in Anapa, super heavyweight Gurgen Hovhannisyan has gained advantage over a Georgian athlete and qualified for the finals where he will fight against Russia's representative for a champion title.

Gurgen Madoyan (69kg) has conceded to a Russian athlete satisfying with bronze.

On the eve Arsen Abgaryan at 49kg and Zhorzhik Marutyan comquered bronze medals.

The final bout will take place on June 14.
