Wrestler Garik Barseghyan the winner of Soslan Andiev Tournament

Armenia’s freestyle wrestling team member Garik Barseghyan (57kg) became a winner of Soslan Andiev Tournament. The Armenian wrestler prevailed on Rustam Karakhanov (Dagestan) 4-5 in final. The same weight class representative Garnik Mnatsakanyan became a bronze medalist.

The other athletes of Armenia’s team such as Gor Grigoryan, Valodya Frangulyan, Davit Safayan and Valter Margaryan couldn’t take any prize.

Last year Garik Barseghyan gained a victory at the same tournament. Armenia’s freestyle wrestling team led by the head coach Arayik Baghdasaryan takes part in the International tournament after two-time Olympic champion Soslan Andiev which is held in Vladikavakaz from November 6 to 7.

On November 7 the wrestlers of 74 kg, 86kg, 97kg, and 125kg weight classes will compete.
