U23 World Championship: Greco-Roman wrestlers enter the mat

On 1 November Greco-Roman wrestlers will start performing at the U23 Senior World Championship underway in Budapest, Hungary.

On the first day of the competition wrestlers of 55, 63, 77, 87 and 130 kg weight classes will compete. Armenia will have 5 representatives: Norayr Hakhoyan (55 kg), Slavik Galstyan (63 kg), Vahe Poghosyan (77 kg), Albert Yeghikyan (87 kg) and Davit Ovasapyan (130 kg).

Other members of the Armenia Greco-Roman team, Armen Melikyan (60 kg), Hayk Melikyan (67 kg), Hrant Kalachyan (72 kg) and Arman Vardanyan (82 kg), will enter the mat on 2 November.
Let us recall earlier the Armenia U23 freestyle wrestling team which had joined the World Championship with 9 wrestlers ended its performance without a medal.
