Canadian figure skater Eladj Baldé and Evgeni Plushenko’s manager Ari Zaqaryan gave masters classes to the pupils of the figure skating sports school of Irina Rodnina.
Within the upcoming show “Kings on Ice” figure skater Eladj Baldé is also in Armenia these days and he is greatly impressed with the children skating almost a month. “It’s a big achievement to have an ice rink. Given the short term during which children skate, I am really impressed”, Baldé said to reporters.
The organizer of Evgeni Plushenko’s (two-time Olympic, three-time world, multiple-time European champion) show “Kings on Ice”, Ari Zaqaryan was hopeful that in future many famous figure skaters besides Eladj Baldé would give master classes for Armenian children. “Eladj Baldé will take part in the show “Kings on Ice” which will take place on March 5. The show will be also attended by Armenian figure skaters such as Anastasia Galustyan and Slavik Hayrapetyan”, Zaqaryan said.
He also noted that after the World Championship many famous figure skaters will visit the figure skating school.
