On the second day of the Armenian Gymnastics Championship female gymnasts came out.
Anna Grigoryan became Armenia’s champion in all-around competition scoring 47, 5 points. Gayane Sirakanyan finished second with 47, 2 points and Inesa Jaghinyan – third with 43, 7 points.
“We have already formed the teams but after the championship we will revise them and maybe, there will be some changes. In the near future we plan to take part in a tournament in Batumi, Georgia”, gymnastics female team head coach Liza Chatrjyan said to the ANOC press office.
The Armenian Championship is attended by 23 female gymnasts from Yerevan, Gyumri and Ejmiatsin. On March 11 the girls will compete in the all-around competition.
Wrestlers of 55kg, 66kg, 84kg and 120kg weight classes contended for the first place
In December’s rating list Aronyan occupies the 6th position
2 Armenian representatives have qualified for the finals.
The Armenian athletes had left for Qingdao headed by Hovhannes Davtyan’s personal coach Karen Simonyan
The European Weightlifting Championship will be held fromApril 8-16
The Armenian Shooting Championship has been put off till April or May
