Armenia athletics team member Amalya Sharoyan failed to qualify for the semifinals of the 16th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics.

In the qualification round of the women’s 400m event held in Portland, USA Sharoyan placed 14th with 55, 13 seconds result. The best 12 athletes qualified for the semifinals.
The 16th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics was held from March 18 to 20. It was qualifying for the Rio Olympics.
