The best result among the Armenia’s representatives at FIDE World Rapid Championship had Vladimir Hakobyan who took the 35th place. Levon Aronyan was the 43rd and Tigran Pertosyan the 56th. The winner became Magnus Carlsen, the current World Rapid champion. He had 11, 5 points. The second and the third places took Yan Nepomniachtchin and Teimour Radjabov.
